Kyle Classic 2023
Firstly, a big thank you to Renegades Chapter for running the first classic of 2023 , what a great way to kick off the 2023 season.
To the sponsors, Starbell Auto, Humminbird Minn Kota, Yamaha Marine Center and Insurance Services on behalf of all the anglers we can’t thank you enough, as without your continued support these tournaments would not happen.
To Mr Hack, our tournament director, another brilliant tournament run, thank you.
It was most definitely a grind out there this weekend, Ray and myself stuck to our strengths of power fishing our way through the weekend. With the dam filling up I believe it spreads the fish out making it very difficult to put together a solid pattern.
The river which is normally a massive player at Kyle, had dirtied up and made getting a bite very hard. We rotated through 5 key areas over the course of the weekend with the mind set of being happy with catching one fish every hour and a half, but thankfully they were the quality that we were looking for.
A big thanks once again to everyone involved and we looking forward to the rest of the season.
